With this legal page we hope to expand on the legal ramifications of our website and how it fits into the greater group of websites listed under the umbrella of The Progeny Adventure Group LLC and how the protections afforded the Preemie Paradox are dealt.
To know the exact nature of our arrangement and how the members are associated with each website business will require inquiry to our lawyers in which we will have to know the bases of the inquiry. Just know this, we are not required to anything more than what is demanded for us to put out to our website viewers. We are making this page in order to have a good faith statement on what we have done to comply with the laws that be. If any serious offence is taken to the content we provide, then this page and the other 4 pages like it such as the - privacy policy - terms and conditions - disclaimer - and intended goals - shall be read and agreed upon before bringing suit. We provide this information before hand because we have no intention of breaking any laws or discriminating against anyone. Any proclamation that say that we have defamed, discriminated, or harmed in any way was merely accidental or misrepresented from the offended party. We of the preemie paradox just want to make valuable content for the preemie community.
All content created by the preemie paradox is owned by the preemie paradox company. No part or whole shall be copied or shared in a manner of stealing the content created for personal use outside of the preemie paradox company. Any image taken or saved and republished shall be taken as proof of copyright infringement. Any blog written from a guest blogger shall be the words of the guest blogger and anyone who illegally copies and places the guest bloggers content is in direct contempt of the law and the preemie paradox will follow up to ensue action. Any false representing of content made by the preemie paradox as the property of the offender will be met with the full weight of the law.
To the nature by which the ADA is concerned: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. As of the writing of this page, there are many things to do to make a website ADA compliant. We are working on the completion of this process and may have areas we're trying to figure out. The process of making a website ADA accessible is not easy because the preemie paradox does not have an IT department and the website is being made by it's members. In the future is is our goal to comply with all ADA laws as it's the right thing to do. We use plugins that provide screen reader access for the blind and alternative viewing for the colorblind. We alt tag describe each image for screen readers. The preemie paradox uses video and a live show in the majority of it's content creation so audio and video can be used with closed captioning as needed by a content consumer. Our ADA is an ongoing project that may be better or worse depending on how we are working on making it better. We do want our websites to be the best for anyone with a disability since these disabilities are common in the premature infant space.
Contracts will have to be signed and dated in order to be made effective. The preemie paradox has certain legal requirements to be able to advertise on the preemie paradox content. We ask that all advertising pieces be signed as being exactly as it needs to be before we say the lines on the live show, provide a video clip with voice over on our live show or videos, or a placement on our website. The contract basically lays out the terms and conditions in print and the length or duration of the ad.
